Western Winter Fun with Holiday on horseback

Join us on a sleigh ride with your family and friends; the perfect "Western Touch" to your winter holiday. Rides depart from Warner Stables and take place in the meadow on the outside of the Banff town site. Spectacular views of the valley, potential wildlife viewing, friendly drivers and warm wool blankets make these rides a unique experience for anyone visiting the mountains in the winter.

Sleigh Rides

Sleigh rides are available every hour on the hour, 7 days per week, from 10:00am. to 8:00pm. weather and snow conditions permitting. Rides are approximately 45 minutes. Advance reservations are required.

We offer a romantic sleigh ride package perfect for just the two of you. Package includes Bernard Callebaut chocolates, liqueurs and an authentic buffalo robe for extra warmth to make your ride truly special. This ride is taken in a small 2 seat cutter sleigh – a true one-horse open sleigh! Available only for couples (sorry, no kids) hourly from 10am to 8pm. Advance reservations and prepayment required.

Sleigh ride weddings are a unique way to say your vows in an outdoor setting in Banff National Park! Our large sleighs seat 18 or 12 people each and can accommodate a group up to 66 people at one time. There are many options to choose from and the occasion can be customized to your group dynamics and most requests.
